The story · Patek Philippe, est. 1839
Gérald Genta drew the Nautilus in 1976 after the porthole of a transatlantic liner, and made steel a luxury. The 5711/1A arrived in 2006, became the most wanted steel watch of its era, and Patek Philippe ended its production in 2021.
Geneva's oldest independent family maison, owned by the Stern family since 1932. Every Patek Philippe here is opened, its calibre checked against the reference, and every complication tested before it reaches you.
Specifications
Checked by our watchmaker against the watch in hand, not copied from a brochure.

From our workshop
Inspected before it was listed
We open the caseback and examine the movement. Every part must be genuine and correct for that exact reference.
The balance and escapement are timed on a timegrapher in several positions, so you know it keeps time before you wear it.
Correct printing, correct lume, correct finish. A refinished or service dial is always disclosed, never hidden.
Serial and reference must sit exactly where the maison put them, and match the papers. Any polishing is noted.
Clasp and end-link codes checked, stretch measured and disclosed, every link cleaned by hand.
