Since 1956 the Day-Date has spelled out the day of the week in full at twelve o'clock. It is made only in precious metals and worn on the President bracelet, which is how it became the watch of heads of state.
Founded in London in 1905 and in Geneva since 1919, Rolex makes its own movements and casts its own gold. Before a Rolex is listed here, our watchmaker matches its serial and reference to the case and papers, and times it on the bench.
