Rolex introduced the Submariner in 1953 as a tool for divers. The current 41 mm generation, launched in 2020, runs on calibre 3235 with a 70-hour power reserve and is water resistant to 300 metres. It is the watch most people picture when they hear the word Rolex.
Founded in London in 1905 and in Geneva since 1919, Rolex makes its own movements and casts its own gold. Before a Rolex is listed here, our watchmaker matches its serial and reference to the case and papers, and times it on the bench.
