A Royal Oak Selfwinding worth waiting for.
In 1972 Gérald Genta drew an octagonal bezel held by eight hexagonal screws, and Audemars Piguet made it in steel at the price of a gold watch. The 41 mm Selfwinding is its most direct descendant: the same octagon, the same screws, the same Grande Tapisserie dial.
Home of the Royal Oak, the 1972 steel sports watch that changed luxury watchmaking. Each Audemars Piguet we sell has its case, Tapisserie dial and bracelet inspected and its movement timed before listing.
